     True to tradition we select all our beef by hand.  This personal approach guarantees that only the very best beef reaches our meat counters ensuring consistently high quality standards at all times.

     

    The Bergin family farm straddles the Kildare and Meath border and it is here that all of our top-quality locally sourced Irish beef is processed by our next door neighbour, Moyvalley Meats, a highly regarded beef production facility and certified member of the Bord Bia Beef Quality Assurance Scheme.

     

    We share a common policy on animal welfare and a mutual belief that livestock looked after well in the field will simply taste better on the plate. 

    Our story begins on
    a small FARM

    Our business was founded in 1970 by our late father Michael J Bergin at our family farm in Moyvalley, Co. Kildare . Owned by brothers Dermot, Brendan & Robert, from small beginnings we now have four shops and are extremely proud to bring our decades of butchering experience to the people of Edenderry, Co. Offaly, Navan, Co. Meath and Derrinturn & Naas, Co. Kildare. 

     

     While we are traditional butchers at heart we have adapted our offering to meet the needs of modern living with the addition of a wide range of pre-packed meats, oven ready dishes, an extensive deli selection, salads and side orders, cooked meats and party food.
